Oh Dear Lashes!!! Maybelline Lash Sensational

New day = New Blogpost!!  I been so busy with work and school I barely had any time to write.  But I'm back now! I tried this new Mascara and felt the instant need to share it with you guys.  I’m usually some what picky when it comes to mascara. As long as it doesn’t flake onto my face or give me raccoon eyes, chances are i’ll probably like it, however I do like to have long and sensational lashes all the time regardless what the rest of my makeup looks like. I DO tend to prefer natural bristles over synthetic, but thats not a deal breaker. I currently have a few mascaras that I love, but they were getting on the old side ( any excuse to shop its a good excuse to me) so I decided it was time to search for something new.

While out shopping last week, I came across a display of new Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara and was intrigued by the brush shape and the claims to give a “full fan effect.” I picked up the shade Blackest Black but it’s also available in Very Black and Brown Black.

This is yet another lust worthy mascara from Maybelline! It claims to reveal, "layer upon layer of lashes" for a full fan effect, and thanks to a brilliantly designed brush and formula, it really does. The rubber brush features short, densely packed bristles along the inner curve (intended to deposit mascara at the root of lashes) and longer bristles elsewhere to sweep through lashes all the way to the tips.

Just a coat or two is all it takes to achieve cleanly separated yet volumized lashes for a beautifully fringed effect. Better yet, the buildable formula isn't prone to clumping, flaking or smudging.

The formula is thin and covers lashes easily with minimal clumping. When applying the mascara, you use the curved short brittle side to coat the lashes and get close to the roots. Then you can use the fanned out larger bristles to separate and fan out lashes to give a fluttery effect. I have to say it works extremely well at delivering lengthened fanned out lashes with minimal effort. I also want to note I didn’t have any smudging or flaking when using this and removal is a breeze with my trusty Philosophy Eye Makeup Remover! Of course you can use your favorite product to take it off.

It's celebration time and everyone celebrates a 25th anniversary in their own special way.  This time M·A·C is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Simpsons with a makeup collection. The Simpsons™ Collection pays homage to Marge, blue hair and all.

The eyeshadow quads are so vibrant!! For me, the quad that is most wearable is Marge’s Extra Ingredients Quad; the violet, navy, bright blue and pink shades can definitely be used to make an eye look that pops without being over the top.  But of course its nice ans super fun to play with all 4 colors and mix it up.  And  if you want to really amp up the look, get the 7 Lash eyelashes and experiment with a new fun and extravagant look. And lets face it, how fun are the bright nail stickers?
