Oh Dear Lashes!!! Maybelline Lash Sensational

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Review

Hey Dolls!!!

New day = New Blogpost!!  I been so busy with work and school I barely had any time to write.  But I'm back now! I tried this new Mascara and felt the instant need to share it with you guys.  I’m usually some what picky when it comes to mascara. As long as it doesn’t flake onto my face or give me raccoon eyes, chances are i’ll probably like it, however I do like to have long and sensational lashes all the time regardless what the rest of my makeup looks like. I DO tend to prefer natural bristles over synthetic, but thats not a deal breaker. I currently have a few mascaras that I love, but they were getting on the old side ( any excuse to shop its a good excuse to me) so I decided it was time to search for something new.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

While out shopping last week, I came across a display of new Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara and was intrigued by the brush shape and the claims to give a “full fan effect.” I picked up the shade Blackest Black but it’s also available in Very Black and Brown Black.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Wand

This is yet another lust worthy mascara from Maybelline! It claims to reveal, "layer upon layer of lashes" for a full fan effect, and thanks to a brilliantly designed brush and formula, it really does. The rubber brush features short, densely packed bristles along the inner curve (intended to deposit mascara at the root of lashes) and longer bristles elsewhere to sweep through lashes all the way to the tips.
Just a coat or two is all it takes to achieve cleanly separated yet volumized lashes for a beautifully fringed effect. Better yet, the buildable formula isn't prone to clumping, flaking or smudging.
The formula is thin and covers lashes easily with minimal clumping. When applying the mascara, you use the curved short brittle side to coat the lashes and get close to the roots. Then you can use the fanned out larger bristles to separate and fan out lashes to give a fluttery effect. I have to say it works extremely well at delivering lengthened fanned out lashes with minimal effort. I also want to note I didn’t have any smudging or flaking when using this and removal is a breeze with my trusty Philosophy Eye Makeup Remover! Of course you can use your favorite product to take it off.

So let me know what do you think of this product and which is your favorite mascara.

Enjoy!

Its Starting to smell a lot like Christmas.....

Hello My Beautiful Fashionistas!!!
I KNOW I've been totally MIA, lost from the blogging world and I apologize for that.  As some of you may know I recently graduated from Law School, and in the past months I had to  hide myself in my house and study for the Bar Exam.  This required all my time and attention which kept me away from all of you for quite some time.  After that I took a little vacation to rest from all the studying, reading and long nights, and to catch up with family and recent changes that were taking place around me.  Anyways, I'M BACK and for the perfect season, The Holidays.  This is by far my favorite season of all.  I love Christmas, family gatherings, and parties.  I just love everything that surrounds the Holiday Season.  This of course includes gifts.

Sparkle Away!

Hey Dolls!

Hope you all had an amazing and fun weekend!  Today I want to talk to you about an online store that I love and its called Baby Frou Frou.  This online store sell different types of accessories from necklaces, earrings, bracelets you name it.  I have acquire a few pieces from them along the months and let me tell you they are statement pieces.  Trust me if you have one of their pieces on you will have everybody talking about it.  It's amazing how an entire outfit is transformed by adding something sparkly and cool.

This online store is different from others.  Not only their products are different and good quality but they change their merchandise all of the time. Most retailers change stock 4 times a year, but not Baby Frou Frou, they add to their stock every week.  Making their pieces unique and special in their own way.

Just like them I LOVE how the simple addition of a statement necklace can make a plain t-shirt and skinny jeans look polished! Or, how a long dangly pair of earrings can make that little black dress even more amazing! Jewels truly make all of the difference so I invite you to check out their web page Baby Frou Frou and indulge on all the beauties they have! Remember to tag #dfashionista and #ilovebabyfroufrou so we can see how you style your bling!  Please see below some of their gorge pieces.  Enjoy!

Zuhair Murad Haute Couture Fall Winter 2014 Collection

Hey dolls!

Can I have them ALL!!?? WOW this Fall Winter Collection from designer Zuhair Murad is so so beautiful and amazing. I mean have you seen the detail, the colors, the embroidery. It's simply stunning and I'm pretty sure just like me you will fall head over heels with each and every one of the pieces. The Lebanese couturier presented his Fall/Winter 2014 creations at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Murad served up satin shawl collars and slick tuxedo pants as a nod to men's evening wear, but on the whole this was red carpet, leg and light bulb flashing, lady of leisure stuff, as was to be expected. Models in heavy kohl eyeliner with slicked back hair walked the runway to Son Lux's "Easy," showing off a series of heavily-worked fabrics cut close to the body.

You will notice that there were some interesting touches with asymmetric elements (pleats twisted over hips and a webbed effect in crystal embellishment) and loose zebra stripes of sequins which fell into abstraction as they tumbled down gowns. Murad relied on his usual design influences, which worked their way to the surface from the start. Color wise, the mostly monochrome opening pieces gave way to gowns with multicolored hippyish prints and palettes, then blocks of blues and pinks.

Take a look at the collection below and you will agree with me when I say, Mr. Murad, please send a piece of each to my house!!

Enjoy!
